Renting an exotic or luxury car is more involved than a standard rental, but it’s far simpler than most first-time renters expect. Here’s exactly what you need to know before booking.
Minimum Age
Drivers must be at least 18 years old to rent with us. Some vehicles and coverage tiers may carry additional requirements, so it’s worth confirming details for a specific car when you book.
Valid License and Identification
You’ll need a valid driver’s license (a foreign license is accepted with a passport for international renters) and a form of government-issued photo ID. Bring the physical license — a photo of it isn’t sufficient at pickup.
Insurance and Deposit
A security deposit is required and held on a credit card for the duration of the rental, refunded after the vehicle is returned in its original condition. We can walk you through supplemental insurance options if your personal policy doesn’t extend to exotic vehicle coverage.
Payment Method
A major credit card in the renter’s name is required for both the rental payment and the security deposit. Debit cards are generally not accepted for exotic vehicle rentals due to the deposit hold.
Mileage and Fuel Policy
Each rental includes a set mileage allowance appropriate to the vehicle and rental length, with additional mileage available at a per-mile rate. Vehicles should be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup.
Delivery and Pickup
We offer delivery directly to your hotel, residence, venue, or the airport across San Diego and Southern California, so you don’t need to arrange your own transportation to pick up the car.
What to Bring to Pickup
- Valid driver’s license
- Government-issued photo ID
- Credit card in the renter’s name
- Proof of insurance, if using your own policy
