What to weigh before you choose
Convertibles trade boot space for roof mechanism, so pack accordingly — most of these take a soft weekend bag rather than a suitcase. The Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is the one to take if there is any chance of traffic or a passenger new to this; the Huracán and McLaren Spyders are the ones to take when the drive is the point.

- Can I rent a convertible in San Diego for a weekend?
- Yes. Send us the exact dates and the car, and we will confirm availability by phone. A two-day minimum applies across the fleet, so a weekend is the shortest rental we take.
- How much luggage fits in a convertible?
- Less than you expect, because the roof has to fold somewhere. Plan on soft bags rather than hard suitcases. If luggage is the constraint, a luxury SUV is the better rental.
- Can a convertible be delivered outside San Diego?
- Yes. We deliver across San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles at a flat $150 per rental. San Diego is our home turf, so same-week bookings here are routine and further afield wants a little more notice.
