Privacy policy

We collect information when you choose to send it, and a limited amount automatically through analytics. There is no account system and no advertising pixel. Two third parties are involved: Google Analytics and Google Maps, both covered below.

When you submit an availability request, the form sends us:

• Your first and last name
• Your phone number and email address
• The vehicle you are asking about, and your pickup and return dates
• Your delivery or pickup location
• Any message and contact preference you provide
• Whether you asked about chauffeur service

Alongside that, the form records how you arrived, so we can tell which enquiries come from where:

• The page you submitted the form from
• The first page you landed on in this session
• The referring website, if any
• Campaign parameters in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, gclid)
• The date and time of submission

To answer you. We use your contact details to confirm the car for your dates and to arrange the rental. We use the attribution details to understand which marketing works, not to build a profile of you.

Requests are stored on our own server. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Where a car is arranged to order rather than kept on our published fleet, confirming it may mean passing the vehicle and the dates to a supplier. We do not need to pass on your contact details to do that, and we do not.

Our office location is shown using an embedded Google map on the home page and the contact page. When that map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy rather than ours. We receive nothing from it and cannot see who has viewed it.

The map is loaded lazily, so it is only requested if you scroll to it. Nothing else on this site contacts a third party.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages people read, how they arrived, and roughly where in the world they are. It sets its own cookies and Google receives your IP address, which Google shortens before storing. We do not use it for advertising, we do not run remarketing, and we have not linked it to any ad account.

We never send Google your name, email address, phone number or anything else you type into the availability form. That information goes only to us.

You can opt out for every site you visit using Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

We set no advertising cookies of our own. Google Analytics sets analytics cookies, described above, and the embedded Google map sets Google’s. The site itself uses one item of browser session storage to remember the first page you landed on, so an enquiry can be attributed correctly; it is cleared when you close the tab.

Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for the rental and our business records. If you would like your enquiry deleted, email us and we will remove it.

If we connect a CRM or an advertising platform, each becomes a recipient of this data and this page will be updated to say so. Email is sent through Resend, which processes the address you give us in order to deliver our reply and your confirmation.
