The Huracán is the easier car to live with
All-wheel drive, a dual-clutch gearbox and a much more modern cabin make the Lamborghini Huracán the one to take if the plan involves passengers, traffic, or someone who has not driven a supercar before. Our Huracán Spyders drop their roofs, which on the Pacific Coast Highway drive from San Diego matters more than any lap time.
The 458 is the purer one
The 458 Italia is a rear-wheel-drive, high-revving Ferrari from the last era before turbochargers arrived, and it is widely considered one of the great modern Ferraris for exactly that reason. It asks more of you and gives more back. If the point of the day is the driving itself, take the Ferrari.
What they cost
The 458 Italia sits at the more accessible end of our exotic range. The Huracán Spyders sit slightly above it. Current daily rates are published on each vehicle page, and both carry the same two-day minimum.
